1. If the device is off, hold down the Power key to turn it back on.
2. Then go to Settings and then to Backup & Reset.
3. In the next step select Factory data reset.
4. Afterwards choose Reset device.
5. Select Erase everything to confirm the whole operation.
6. Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.
